The ARK — Alzheimer’s Family Support Services, in the South Carolina Lowcountry — runs one event a year that matters more than all the others combined. Dancing With The ARK’s Stars.
The challenge
They needed a creative agency they could actually count on. Not a different freelancer every year, not a volunteer with a good camera. Someone who would show up, know the room, and deliver.
There are no second takes at a fundraiser.
What we do
Every year, we cover the whole night. An event highlight video. Polished photography. Drone footage.
And then the part that matters most: video coverage of every single dancer, packaged and delivered to each of them individually. Not a shared folder of everything — their night, cut for them.
Plus all the raw footage, every year.
What happened
Donations have climbed year over year. Event awareness has grown. And that has let The ARK put more into the work they actually exist to do — respite care, support, and resources for families navigating Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
Why it matters
Here’s the thing about the individual dancer videos, and it took us a couple of years to fully appreciate it.
A highlight reel gets posted once by the nonprofit. But when every dancer has their own video, every dancer becomes someone who shares the event — to their own network, on their own timeline, all year long. Dozens of small audiences instead of one.
That’s not a production decision. It’s a fundraising one.
